Ingredients:
-
1 lb ground bison
-
1 Head Bibb lettuce
-
1 package Mushrooms
-
½ Avocado
-
¼ cup fat free, plain greek yogurt
-
½ red onion, thinly sliced
-
1 tsp lemon juice
-
Cooking Instructions:
-
Add ground bison to a bowl and season with 1 tsp onion powder and 1 tsp garlic powder.
-
Divide your meat into four 4 oz patties. Sprinkle the burger patties with salt and pepper.
-
Heat a skillet on medium high with avocado oil to coat the bottom. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until desired temperature is reached. Add a low fat or fat free cheese if you prefer a cheeseburger. If you are trying to decrease fat intake, you can do a turkey burger instead!
-
Add ½ avocado, greek yogurt, 1 tsp lemon juice, ¾ tsp garlic powder, ¾ tsp onion powder and a pinch of salt together and mix well until creamy. Set aside.
-
Place mushrooms on a medium temperature skillet with a splash of water until they become smaller and a deep brown.
-
Add your mushrooms, patty, avocado crema and red onion on a leaf of bibb lettuce and enjoy!
